Bacon and Eggs Slippers!

The Bacon and Egg Slippers!!

I made these for my friend Jenny Oh for Christmas, and they were such a hit I wanted to share them with more and more people.
However, this pattern was a combination of two other patterns, and since the owners charge, I will not be posting this pattern, but I will tell you how I did it!

The base for the slippers is the Oma Slippers from Mamachee on etsy. I used brown for the bottom, an off white middle bit, and then a golden pancake color for the top part of the slipper.

The bacon and eggs were of course from Twinkie Chan's book Crocheted Goodies for Fashion Foodies, I did however make both patterns smaller! The bacon was I think 1/3 the length and I only did every other row... and the eggs, I think I just skipped the second to last row.

But I love the way they came out, almost like a yummy Mary-Jane!

Have you every completely reworked patterns to create your own?
